The museum is located in a former Greek-Catholic presbytery in the Village of Bortiatyn, Yavoriv District, Lviv Region.

The Antonych family lived there from 1928 to 1947, including father Vasyl Antonych, his wife Olha Antonych, and their son, the renowned Ukrainian poet Bohdan-Ihor Antonych. Since 2009, the former Greek-Catholic presbytery has been transformed into a museum, serving as the Bortiatyn branch of the Lviv Museum of the History of Religion.

The museum's exposition offers visitors the opportunity to delve into the life and works of the poet, as well as the social and pastoral contributions of his father, Vasyl Antonych. Additionally, it provides insights into the traditions, customs, and history of Lemkivshchyna and Yavorivshchyna, the Ukrainian ethnographical regions connected to their origins and residence; etc.
